Right, That’s It – Decision made!

The Book Wiz is no more. I am instead going to focus some attention on my movies download site. It has the means to get listed on the search engines (I can insert a Meta Tag) and once I get rid of the advertising campaigns for my other sites I will have the necessary funds to promote my website.

The website is Digital Wave Media which cost me $47.00 to join (£23.52) and is run by the same people as the Book Wiz (I didn’t know this though). The difference being that you have actually got the means to promote your site through banner exchanges. The traffic hasn’t been too great at the moment but the site has only been up for a matter of weeks. I don’t expect quick results, it just doesn’t happen.

I am going to submit the website to search engines and directories to get more exposure. Again, this is not going to be a quick option but as I said, I am not looking for quick results.

I’ll update as soon as I can

The Book Wiz – The thorn in my side.

I’m getting to the point where I just can’t be bothered with it. I have had no sales and I am not willing to spend endless amounts on pay-per-click advertising when there is nothing else I can do to make the site more visible. I do not have access to the codes to insert keywords/meta tags. It’s just a waste of time.

Another problem is the payment is through clickbank. You have to keep sales constant or otherwise the amount to be paid to you will decrease (yes, they take money from you for not selling your stuff). They also send you a cheque in US Dollars. You can cash the cheques in this country for a small fee, but to make it worth while it needs to be a decent amount ($50.00 plus). The only cheque I have had from the was for $8.00, and it just wasn’t worth the effort to cash.

Please, if anybody knows how to make this worth while let me know!!!

Welcome!

Welcome to my new blog, free from the constraints of a free blog host. Well, I tried to install the wordpress platform myself but it defeated me, so I got it installed for me.

This is a continuation from my previous blog. You may want to read the previous posts which have been imported from the old blog (which has now closed down).

So, my quest continues. I am hoping to include some paid posts in this blog but that’s a while off so I will give you more info nearer the time.

Well, i’m off to do more editing.

The new blog is up!!!

I have managed to set up my new blog on my own domain. I thought about importing the posts to the new blog, but I can’t really be bothered. I am just going to create a link to this blog and then eventually delete it.

I’m Moving.

In the next couple of weeks I am hoping to move this blog to my own domain. I have big plans for this blog and keeping it hosted on blogger will not be good for those plans. Don’t get me wrong, Blogger/BlogSpot is perfect if all you want to do is blog. I however, would like to do something more adventurous which BlogSpot restricts.

I have been reading about how to swap to a WordPress platform, and my head is hurting already. I just hope that when it comes down to it is easier than I think it is. I am no computer geek and I really am a beginner when it comes to things like HTML, but it’s all a learning curve.

I will let you all know when the new site will be set up. This site will not be posted on after the new one is set up, and some changes will be made to this one once that happens.

Thanks for visiting my site and any words of encouragement will be welcome!

For all you Brits out there!

I have come across a particularly good survey site, unfortunately its only available to UK residents. It takes some time for the surveys to come through, so patients is a must, but the pay is fairly reasonable in comparison to other sites so far. The more surveys you take with them, the more money you earn.

If you can’t be bothered with taking their surveys then you can write reviews and get paid for it. I haven’t tried this yet so I can’t comment on whether its worth it or not, but its worth a try.

There are also other things you can do to make money. If your interested then click on the link below.
