Earnings report on surveys - Part II

Saturday, July 21st, 2007

Well here it is, a further earnings report on the surveys I have taken. This is an update to my previous earnings report. I haven’t made much more money since then because I have been very busy with holidays and other things. I was not because there was a lack of surveys though. Far from it, if anything it’s getting to the point where there is too many to complete. Read my previous post about some of the survey sites that I am using.

So the current earnings: £37.11 in total (although I swear that there are some companies I have missed). The question I need answering now is when do I have to pay income tax on these earnings? Do I have to wait until I actually receive the benefit of the money (i.e. when I redeem the points for cash) or do I pay the tax on them now, and risk having to pay again later. Any ideas anyone?

I also won $50.00 on one of the prize draw survey sites. At the moment it works out at £24.31, and because it’s a prize its tax free (I think). So that was a good surprise.

I am going to be writing very shortly about other paid programs that I have been participating in which I think are worth a mention. So keep calling back.

PayPerPost – give it a go!

Sunday, July 15th, 2007

I was approved for PayPerPost a couple of weeks ago. I was worried that because my blog hasn’t been ranked by Google yet the opportunities would be limited. Not so, there are plenty of opportunities that pay fairly well, the top one on the list pays $10.00 for 100 words; and once Google starts ranking my site it can only get better.

The best thing about PayPerPost is that you can choose whether to take certain opportunities without it affecting the likelihood you getting other opportunities. I have had this experience with a number of paid blogging companies and it’s annoying. You have to chose what categories your blog falls into but that’s a good thing because it matches opportunities to your blog’s theme. So how much can you make? Well, most posts require between 50 to 200 words which takes about 5 – 10 minutes to write and can pay as much as $12.00 for an unranked site to as much as $235.00 and more for a rank 5+ site. If you think of it in terms of dollars per hour than your laughing all the way to the bank and having fun doing it.

So, if you have a blog that’s more than 90 days old why not pop down to blog marketing and sign up!

Evo Signup

Saturday, July 14th, 2007

If anybody is interested in signing up for the Evo Website you have until 12 midnight (14 July) to do so. The project is in its pre-launch stage at the moment and tomorrow will be its official launch. From 12 midnight tonight (14 July) to Monday 16 July the website will be taken offline and relaunched on Monday, as far as I know, with a new brand name. I guess on Monday we will have a better idea of the product. Once again, signing up is free and you get your very own website.

A challenge for you!

Tuesday, July 10th, 2007

I came across a website that incorporates three areas of the fastest growing internet market through another scheme that I signed up for (more on that later). As far as I can see it incorporates internet gaming, social networking (like facebook and MySpace), and blogging. It is free to sign up to and you get your own website, FREE.

My challenge to you - if you choose to accept it - is to sign up to the free website and try and find a way to make money from it. I have tried time and time again to market these kinds of sites and I have failed many times. I honestly don’t know a thing apart from basic internet marketing. The project is not going live until the 15 July so you have plenty of time to figure out a plan. Who knows, if you suss it out you might even like to sell it in an Ebook! If you are up for it visit the site below.

Evo Website Signup.

The other project I have signed up to is not free and I have actually made some money from it. I will tell you more about it in the very near future. I have also been accepted to write sponsored posts for PayPerPost so there will be some sponsored posts on here in the near future.

I also have to work out how much I have earned in total for the surveys I have taken. I need to work it out for tax reasons (booooooooooooo). I did win $50.00 the other day, which was a nice surprise, but the taxman will want to take some of my earnings.
