What’s this all about then?
Well, I was just surfing the net, like you do, and came across this random ‘get rich quick’ site. The Book Wiz to be exact. ‘OK’ I thought ‘it’s free to set up, wont hurt to try it.’ So off I went believing that this gibble gabble they wrote on the site is a bit far fetched, but worth trying none the less. Signed up with Clickbank, did all the steps that was required and hey presto, a spanking new, if a bit amatuerustic e-book website about money making among other things.
I’m not totally gullible, just a little bit, so I bought a book from my own web site to make sure it was all working as expected. It was, and I had money show up on my Click Bank account. Excellent, sit back and watch the money pour in.
Then…
I got an email from Clicks2U promising to send traffic to my store with great conversion rates. Still being a little gullible (but not totally gullible) I signed up for the mid way package which cost me $29.00, which is about £20.00 for 1000 clicks through to my website. I never received any confirmation or details they said they were going to send me to keep track of the clicks they send through. I didn’t get the clicks, nor the replies to the emails I sent. Somebody is making loads of money without delivering the products. Well done them, poor moneyless me. They have been complained about though, so that’s a good thing. Since my site has been set up more than a year ago I have had no sales. I honestly can’t remember whether I had to actually pay anything other than for that stupid Clicks2U.
Anyways, I know a little bit more about how to get traffic to the website now than I did back then. I am going to start it back up, but this time not pay Clicks2u and instead us the conventional methods such as AdWords and website submission. I will keep you all posted on what happens and then ultimately decide whether it is a money wham or money scam website.
So that’s what this blog is all about. I am going to try a few more of these ‘get rich quick’ schemes (money permitting) and, like the Book Wiz, determine if they are wham or scam. There has to be SOMEBODY out there that HAS got RICH doing this!?!
